At The Monal, we are a Canadian restaurant serving desi cuisines. We take pride in being a family-friendly restaurant aiming to treat your taste buds right.

Super lovely staff and delicious food! Our waitress was awesome and helped us pick out some delicious dishes because there were so many tasty sounding options that we couldn’t pick which ones to try! We will definitely be back again soon.

We were craving Indian food, and saw the sign and ended up seeing their sign and dropping by! We were seated right away, their server is very professional, kind! It’s aesthetically pleasing to the eyes, great cleanliness and hygienic! We tried their Goat curry and lamb biryani! We were blown away by the tenderness of the meat, how well the food was made! The quality of the food was 110%. Highly recommended this place. It was finger lickin’ good! I couldn’t stop eating, and had to undo my pants button! Truly one of my favourite restaurants now in Calgary ! PS: they have quite a few options in their menu — to really know what’s dry and what’s with gravy would recommend asking the server 🙂

Every bite of our meal was delicious! Just the right amount of spice plus the sweet desserts and chai were a perfect combination to enjoy with friends! The owner’s wife was welcoming and accommodating. We will go back!
